sweet tooth

I made this Sunshine Pound cake from one of my favorite food blogs the other day and it was soo good. It seriously hit the spot - lemony and sweet.


I also liked the idea from this recipe of decorating a cake by using upside down chocolate chips. It's really simple, but I think it's a cool effect. (that's probably too many chocolate chips for my liking, but there are a lot of possibilities there)

This recipe for Strawberry Shortcake Cake is also calling my name. I need to resist. Bah.

yum! that pound cake makes me think of summer. we can almost taste it. it'll be so nice to have our husbands back. :) i like being able to say that...
