in honor of new years resolutions

I give you... Brussels Sprouts. I roasted some the other night and it was seriously the best thing I've had in a long time. Drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper, then roast on a cookie sheet for 40 min at 400 degrees and you've got some dang good vegetables. If you want to be a little naughty and put some brown sugar on them then you've got the BEST VEGGIES EVER. I like it so much that I think that it's all we're going to have for my birthday dinner tomorrow - well that and ice cream. So much for new year's resolutions.

That sounds amazing. Yum - I want to make some. You'd never think what a little brown sugar could do for vegetable. I mean...sweet potatoes and brussell sprouts. Delicious
