Jonas Benjamin Hansen

Is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen? I really can't believe that Russell and I did so well. When we found out we were pregnant we tried going onto one of those online baby predictors where you upload your pictures and it predicts what your baby would look like. So Russell and I put ourselves in there, and the picture that came out looked like a cross between a klingon and... gollum. or something like that. :) but after that we uploaded a picture of a robot and a car and it came out with an ugly looking baby too so we decided not to put too much stock in it.
Yesterday we went to Lindon park and had a picnic and took pictures of cute little Jonas. We tried taking pictures with my old 35mm SLR (which my Dad bought on his mission - this thing's really old but it's a lot of fun). Unfortunately I think that my film was pretty old too and probably expired so a lot of the pictures didn't turn out very well. Luckily Russell took lots with the digital camera.

Russell's such a good Daddy - and might I add - a complete stud.

Learning and adjusting to being a mom has been quite an adventure. Who would have thought nursing would be so hard? But (almost) every time I try to feed him he goes crazy, kind of like this:He's trying to eat, but his hands get in the way and then he just kinda freaks himself out like "ah! I'm hungry, I'm really really hungry and I need to eat now!" and gets so intense at finding something to suck on that he can't latch on. But, thankfully I think he's learning and getting better. haha, too much information. Sorry, modesty kinda went out the window since I went into labor. We could talk about poopy diapers too if you want. I know a lot about poopy diapers.
These guys are my favorite. I'm so lucky to have such a great little family.

and heck... why not:

haha, oh dear - the first blow out huh. Those pictures are so amazing! I love the background with the blue shed. Yeah, the blue shed is definitely my favorite part of those pictures ;) Or maybe its something to do with my gorgeous sister, studly brother, and the cutest nephew in the world.

Your pics are great! I empathize with the breast-feeding thing. Hopefully it keeps getting better. Tanner was a major spitter so we were basically both soaked by the time he was done eating EVERY time! You and Russell make 'em good!
