love & tetris

Valentines day is tomorrow and for the first time ever since Elementary School I'm kind of looking forward to it. Russell and I have never been together for Valentines Day before so it should be pretty fun actually having the person that I love around on the "love holiday".

However, for a lot of people Valentines Day is a coping holiday where you've just got to suck it up and plow on through. Today has kind of been one of those days where I've found myself with nothing to do for a long time, I can't leave my desk, and I've just got to kill time. If there's anyone out there that's got time to kill tomorrow he's some time-wasters that have helped me make it through.

Pandora:

Pandora is one of the coolest things ever. It's a site where you can put in bands that you like and it will select songs to play according to your tastes. It's the greatest thing since Tetris - which brings me to my next point....

Tetris:

This is just a totally simple free Tetris site without anything to complicate the pure genius of this game. A few summers ago I had a little handheld Tetris game just like this and I played it for way way too long. I used to actually dream Tetris. Oh well, at least it's not violent right?

Chain Factor:

When I played this for the first time a few days ago I didn't bother reading the directions, I just started pushing buttons. Yeah. That's probably not the best way to play. I did alright... considering, but it's definitely a lot more fun when you know what you're supposed to be doing.
